Welcome to the submission site for the 2024 Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists in Israel. The nomination period is open from June 20, 2023 through August 1, 2023.

The Blavatnik Family Foundation and the New York Academy of Sciences in collaboration with the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities are delighted to embark on the seventh year of the Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists in Israel.  These awards celebrate the past accomplishments and future potential of young faculty researchers working in three disciplinary categories of science and engineering: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences & Engineering, and Chemistry.  Every year, one nominee in each category will be named a Blavatnik Awards in Israel Laureate and awarded US$100,000 in unrestricted funds.

Institutional nominations must be submitted by the institution’s leadership (President, Vice President, Rector) or their official designee (official designees must notify BlavatnikAwardsIsrael@nyas.org of the delegation of responsibilities). Each institution may nominate up to nine individuals, three for each disciplinary category (Life Sciences, Physical Sciences & Engineering, and Chemistry).  The Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists in Israel welcomes nominations from all underrepresented groups in science and engineering.

If you have any questions or experience technical difficulties, please contact the Blavatnik Awards team at BlavatnikAwardsIsrael@nyas.org or +1-212-298-8645 (Monday to Friday, 9AM - 5PM EST).

Sincerely yours,
